"Hridaya Yoga invites everyone to live with an open heart and discover the true potential of human life"
Hridaya is an immersion into your real and essential nature through an artful integration of meditation and yoga techniques.
Hridaya Yoga, the Yoga of the Spiritual Heart, is a spiritual path whose purpose is the revelation of our true nature, or, as it is known in contemplative traditions, the Spiritual Heart. Developed by meditation teacher Sahajananda, Hridaya Yoga is based on traditional spiritual principles and visions from classical yoga based on Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, Advaita Vedanta, Tantra, and Kashmiri Shaivism. They are further correlated with teachings from Sufism, Christianity, Buddhism, and Taoism.
The practice of Hridaya Yoga allows us to live in the very “core” of existence, to feel the heartbeat of every moment of life, to know intuitively the eternal dimension of every moment.
Hridaya is a practice that allows you to fall in love with your body and to develop a deeper relationship with yourself. Hridaya mean Heart, and so this practice, opens your heart to what the present moment is as it is, not the thoughts, not the judgements not the harshness.

"Always live with an open heart. This means being available to both the outer and the inner worlds. The openness of the heart is nothing else but the vastness of Pure Awareness, the eternity of the present moment"
HRIDAYA HATHA YOGA
Hridaya means Heart in Sanskrit.
In Hridaya we hold traditional yoga asanas (poses) for a longer time, encouraging deep relaxation which allows tension to be released, the mind to calm, and the body to open to the free flow of energy.
Each pose becomes an opportunity to open the heart and establish a more intimate relationship with yourself and awareness of who you really are. It is a contemplative practice where you develop and learn to rest in the present moment, in pure awareness.
